About This Property

Presenting a rare opportunity to own a truly distinctive mid-century modern ranch set on 143’ of wide-open canal frontage on all-sports Lake Voorheis. Everyone on the lake knows your name here—there’s no public access, just a quiet sense of community that’s hard to find.

Custom-built, immaculately maintained, and owned by the same family for decades, this home carries a quiet confidence that reflects years of thoughtful care. Tucked back from the road on one of the largest lots on the lake, the approach sets the tone.

Inside, the main living space showcases the home’s character with volume ceilings, exposed beams, and hardwood floors that run throughout the entire entry level. A large picture window frames peaceful water views, bringing the outside in through every season. The kitchen offers an abundance of cabinetry, a built-in serving buffet with generous storage, and ample space for everyday meals or casual gathering. Just beyond, the dining area overlooks the water and connects effortlessly to the Trex deck, where summer days unfold easily—kids swimming, fishing off the dock, and evenings that stretch a little longer than planned.

Bedrooms are comfortably sized with hardwood floors and ample closet space. The primary suite features a private bath and a generous walk-in closet, while two additional bedrooms are served by an updated hall bath with dual sinks and a thoughtfully separated bathing area.

The finished basement expands the home’s versatility with a cozy family room, fireplace, built-ins, and a striking floating staircase. A spacious game or media area with a full wet bar creates the perfect place to gather, while an incredible amount of storage and a separate space for lake gear or projects keeps everything in its place.

Residents enjoy private access to Eaton Gate Beach and over 7 miles of paved trails throughout Keatington, all within the Lake Orion school district. A home that blends vintage character, a picture-perfect setting, and everyday livability.
